About

Ride Ecology connects cycling, agroecology, and community collaboration across the landscapes of central Mexico. We create small-group experiences that bring riders into closer relationship with the ecological and cultural worlds they travel through, while supporting local initiatives that protect biodiversity, strengthen cultural continuity, and sustain rural livelihoods.

Our rides join recreation with field-based learning and reciprocal exchange. Participants move through forests, farms, milpas, and rural communities, encountering the relationships among land, food systems, and biodiversity that sustain these territories. Along the way, we collaborate with farmers, cooks, educators, and community projects whose work cares for landscapes and the people who depend on them.

Landscapes are not backdrops or destinations alone. They are living places of knowledge, connection, and shared responsibility.

How We Ride

Field-based journeys. Small-group mountain-bike and gravel rides move through forests, milpas, and volcanic landscapes, with time to observe, listen, and learn.

Community collaboration. Experiences are developed with farmers, cooks, educators, and local organizations, so that every journey supports place-based knowledge and rural initiatives.
